Anbernic RG505 – PSX Buttons and Frame

As the title of the post indicates, bought the device and buttons from SakuraRetroModding.
The device spec-wise is the same as Retroid Pocket 3+ or Retroid Pocket Flip or Anbernic RG405M.

Each has their own preferences:
– Had Flip for a week, before I sold it, too cramped for big hands and those photos of cracked hinges did not help either
– Retroid Pocket 3+ was second in line before RG505, due to stacked shoulders, but it has IPS, not OLED
– RG405M also looks very nice, and more compact, but this was bought with an idea for PSP games mainly.

The overall device is easy to work with and can be put back easily, the only hard part are Home\Back buttons and power button, which are being helped by gravity alone. So while pushing the board back they might jump out.

And while you are inserting buttons make sure they are placed in the correct spots, as you will need to re-do it a second time to fix it…
